Alabama Crimson Tide News For February 18th 2021 - Alabama-Texas A&M Game Postponed


The Alabama men's basketball game against Texas A&M has been postponed. With the big winter storm hitting the south this week and especially Texas, travel became an issue for the Crimson Tide. With the winter storm issues in Texas, Alabama was just unable to travel to College Station. At this time, a makeup date has not been announced.

There has been some talk around the SEC about not having the SEC Men's Basketball Tournament in Nashville this year, because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Coach Oats stated that he would be very disappointed if we didn't have an SEC Tournament.

The Alabama baseball team opens the season this weekend against McNeese State. The games will be on the SEC Network+ with Friday at 3pm, Saturday at 2pm, and Sunday at 1pm all Central Time.  The Alabama starting pitchers for the game will be Connor Prielipp, Antoine Jean and Dylan Smith.

Alabama Women's basketball will be playing the Florida Gators in Gainesville on Thursday night at 5pm CT.  You will be able to watch the game live on the SEC Network+. The Women's Basketball team will enter the game with a 13-6 overall record and 6-6 in SEC play.
