Alabama Crimson Tide News For February 21st 2021 - Baseball Team Walk Off Win Against McNeese State
The Alabama men's basketball team came away with a close win on Saturday against Vanderbilt 82-78. Alabama trailed much of the first half, but came back in the second half to win a close game. Alabama improves to 13-1 in SEC play, which is the most SEC wins since 1986-87 season. Next up for Alabama will be Arkansas on the road Wednesday at 8pm CT.
The Crimson Tide baseball team began their season with a walk-off home run by Zane Denton. They won 4-3 over McNeese State on Saturday afternoon.
Coach Nate Oats commented about the possibility of leaving the basketball team by saying, “I wanna be here, so I don’t really care what the buyout is for me to leave here.” Coach Nate Oats agreed to a new extended contract this past week.
Alabama senior Ale Kaho appears to be leaving the Crimson Tide football team. He decided to enter the NCAA transfer portal. Kaho was a key member of the Special Teams this past year.
